Your role
As the Group Manager Nutrition & Support Poultry, you will lead one of our Nutrition & Support teams, focusing on product development, implementation of new innovations, and providing nutritional and technical support for poultry. Your clear vision and leadership will empower our business units to be successful in their home market.
Key responsibilities
- Be the sparring partner for commercial and technical departments in our local organizations (business units) and provide and support their nutritional, research, and product development needs.
- Lead and inspire a team of international product managers, technical specialists, product developers, and researchers in a motivating way.
- Execute large projects and stimulate cooperation with various departments, maintaining client focus and facilitating professional development and personal growth.
- Work closely with the Global Marketing & Sustainability team and other Nutrition & Support teams (Swine, Aqua, Ruminants, and Functional Ingredients) to find synergies and align growth and development strategies.
- Build and maintain a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners and represent the department, business unit and De Heus Group to external stakeholders, in line with business needs, De Heus guidelines and external developments.
What we expect from you
- MSc degree or equivalent experience in animal nutrition
- At least 10 years’ work experience in the field of poultry nutrition
- Affinity with R&D and experience in roles bridging science with application
- Proven experience in leading a team of professionals from diverse backgrounds
- A strong learning orientation and excellent people management skills
- Energetic, initiative-taking, and able to inspire and connect with others
- Ability to bridge different cultures and people
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
